I’m a RHSE Advisory Teacher (I teach, write, train, facilitate, advise, advocate and campaign on all aspects of Relationships, Health and Sex Education). I'm a qualified Science teacher with an MSc in Sexual Health Education, a post graduate diploma in Professional Practice in PSHE and a Department of Education PSHE Certificate. I was previously a head of PSHE in a secondary school, SRE Adviser for the London Borough of Enfield and an HIV education adviser for the London Boroughs of Enfield and Haringey. I now mainly work for DO… RSE for Schools and The Sex and History Project, and as a Youth worker specialising in Youth Voice, LGBT+ and Mental Health. I am a life member of the PSHE Association and sit on the Sex Education Forum advisory council as an elected member. In 2014 I was a shortlisted for Sexual Health Professional of the Year. In 2015 I had a children’s book published explaining aspects of serious mental illness (psychosis) “Pretend Friends” .
